NEET MDS 2021 – National Board of Examination (NBE) has released the NEET MDS Merit list for 50% AIQ seats at natboard.edu.in on June 22. Earlier authorities conducted NEET MDS exam on November 20, 2020. The result of NEET MDS 2021 for all candidates was earlier announced on December 31, 2020, at nbe.edu.in.

NBE has also announced NEET MDS 2021 cutoff along with the result. The link to download NEET MDS result 2021 and cut off is available below. As per the NEET MDS 2021 cut off, general category candidates must secure 50th percentile with 259 as corresponding scores, while for SC/ST/OBC, the percentile is 40th and 227 is equivalent scores. Candidates included in NEET MDS 2021 result can download the score card. NBE will release NEET MDS scorecard 2021 from January 12, for which link will be provided on this page.

The authority will release the merit list of NEET MDS 2021 for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in February. Based on the NEET MDS result, eligible candidates will be called for counselling process. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct NEET MDS 2021 counselling for 50% AIQ, all seats in deemed/central universities, ESIC and AFMS institutes. The counselling of NEET MDS 2021 will begin from second week of March. While the NEET MDS counselling 2021 for remaining 50% state quota seats and all seats in private institutes will be done by respective state authorities on the basis of NEET MDS result.

Earlier, the admit card of NEET MDS 2021 was released at nbe.edu.in. Only the registered candidates can download the NEET MDS admit card 2021. NEET MDS exam contains 240 multiple choice questions, which had to be solved in three hours from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. NEET MDS 2021 exam was held in computer based mode.   • Increase in NEET MDS application fee - As per the prospectus, the application fee of NEET MDS 2021 for general and OBC candidates is Rs. 4425, while for SC/ST/PWD it is Rs. 3245, including GST. While last year, the application fee was Rs. 3750 for general/OBC and Rs. 2750 for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
  • Hike in NEET MDS exam centres - This year, as many as 27 NEET MDS centres have been added which are - Ajmer, Aurangabad, Belgaum, Bhatinda, Bikaner, Coimbatore, Gangtok, Gulbarga, Guntur, Huballi, Kanpur, Kottayam, Madurai, Mangaluru, Meerut, Nasik, Patiala, Rajahmundry, Roorkee, Salem, Samba, Shimoga, Tirunelveli, Udupi, Vadodara, Varanasi and Vellore. While, Gurugram, Gandhinagar, Mohali and Noida have been included with Delhi/NCR, Ahmedabad and Chandigarh. Navi Mumbai has been deleted.

NEET MDS 2021 scope

The exam of NEET MDS for dental courses for academic session 2021 is valid for admission to the following admission criteria:

  • Admission to 50% All India Quota seats for MDS courses (excluding candidates from Jammu and Kashmir)

  • Admission to 50% State quota seats for MDS courses for all States/Union Territories of India (including Jammu & Kashmir)

NEET MDS Eligibility Criteria 2021

Before applying for the postgraduate dental entrance test, it is important to fulfil the basic eligibility criteria of NEET MDS 2021. Candidates can check the NEET MDS eligibility conditions below. It must be noted that without fulfilling the NEET MDS 2021 eligibility, no one will be allowed to appear for the test.

  • Aspirants should not be less than 20 years old for the entrance exam

  • BDS candidates must have a recognised degree of Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) issued from a university/institute approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI)

  • One must have a permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by the DCI or State Dental Council (SDC)

  • He/she should possess a year rotatory internship completion letter on or before March 31, 2021.

NEET MDS Exam Centres 2021

The conducting authority, NBE has released the exam centres of NEET MDS 2021 along with the information brochure on October 26, 2020. NEET MDS exam centres are the list of cities in which test will be taken. The authority will conduct NEET MDS exam in 79 exam cities across India. Aspirants must select at least one preference of NEET MDS test centre 2021 during online registration. The selection of the NEET MDS 2021 test cities can be done on the basis of first-come-first-serve. NBE will allot the exam centre as per the preferences submitted by the candidates. NEET MDS Admit Card 2021

NBE will release the hall ticket of NEET MDS 2021 in online mode at nbe.edu.in. NEET MDS 2021 admit card will be issued on December 9, 2020. A link to download NEET MDS admit card will be provided on this page, when released. Only the successfully registered candidates can download the admit card of NEET MDS 2021 by entering their user ID and password in the space provided.

It is advised to verify the details mentioned in the NEET MDS admit card 2021. Download the hall ticket of NEET MDS 2021 and paste the latest passport size photograph. NEET MDS Answer Key 2021

NBE will not publish the official answer key of NEET MDS 2021 as the exam will be held in computer based mode. As per the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), the test takers are not allowed to discuss the questions or any exam related information in any mode whether verbal or written and through any medium. NEET MDS Result 2021

NBE has announced NEET MDS 2021 result on December 31, 2020. The result of NEET MDS 2021 has been declared in online mode at nbe.edu.in. NEET MDS result has been released in PDF format. Only candidates who have secured the NEET MDS minimum qualifying percentile are considered to pass the entrance exam. NEET MDS result 2021 includes roll number, marks obtained (out of 960) and All India Rank. Last year, a total of 12,000 candidates appeared for the NEET MDS exam, of which only 12,128 aspirants qualified for the test.

The qualified candidates can only download the NEET MDS scorecard 2021 from January 12. In order to download the scorecard of NEET MDS 2021 by entering the user ID and password. Revision of NEET MDS 2021 Cutoff

When the sufficient number of candidates appeared for postgraduate national level entrance exam fail to secure the minimum qualifying percentile as declared by NBE then, the Central Government in consultation with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) may lower the NEET MDS cutoff 2021. In the year 2020, NBE with MoHFW and central government lowered NEET MDS cutoff by 18.935 percentile for each category. NEET MDS Merit List 2021

NBE has released the merit list of NEET MDS 2021 on the basis of scores obtained in the online test. NEET MDS 2021 merit list is available online in the PDF format. The merit list displays NEET MDS All India Rank (AIR) for 50% quota, All India Rank and category of candidates. Only the dental graduates included in the merit list are eligible to participate for the counselling process. A separate NEET MDS 2021 merit list for 50% AIQ seats will be prepared for the allotment to AIQ seats.

NEET MDS Counselling 2021

DGHS on behalf of MCC conducts the counselling of NEET MDS 2021 for 50% All India Quota, 100% deemed and central university seats. The authority conducts a total of three rounds of NEET MDS 2021 counselling including a mop-up round. To participate for NEET MDS seat allotment 2021, aspirants need to qualify the entrance exam. Only the qualified candidates need to register themselves first on the official website - mcc.nic.in/PGcounselling.

NEET MDS counselling 2021 process includes registration, filling of choices, process of allotment, declaration of round-wise result and reporting at the allotted colleges. The first round of seat allotment will begin in the second week of March with registration process, while the round two NEET MDS counselling registration will begin from first week of April.

After the completion of registration process, candidates need to provide their choices of colleges and specialties in which they wish to get admission. On the basis of these choices, NEET MDS exam rank, seats availability, reservation criteria and other factors, the admission will be granted. NEET MDS round one counselling 2021 result will be announced in the last week of March, while round two result will be declared in the third week of April.

Thereafter, the shortlisted aspirants need to report at the allotted institute after NEET MDS counselling 2021. They need to carry the relevant documents along with fees for verification and completion of admission process.

However, NEET MDS counselling 2021 for 50% state quota seats and seats in private universities will be done by the respective state authorities on the basis of rank secured, choices filled, seats available, criteria of reservation and other factors.
