Candidates will be able to download the admit card using NEET PG 2021 login user ID and password. It is mandatory for students to carry the NEET PG 2021 hall ticket on the day of the exam. Earlier, NEET PG 2021 was scheduled to be conducted after August 31, 2021, however, postponed. A total of 1,74,886 candidates have registered for NEET PG 2021. NBE NEET PG 2021 exam will be held in a computer-based mode in 255 cities of India. NEET PG 2021 will contain 200 multiple choice questions, for which 3 hours 30 minutes will be allotted. NEET PG syllabus 2021 contains questions from pre-clinical, clinical and para-clinical subjects during MBBS syllabus. Aspirants have to secure the NEET PG cutoff percentile, i,e. for General category is 50th percentile, while for SC/ST/OBC, it is 40th percentile. May 3, 2021: As per the PMO, the NEET PG exam will be conducted after August 31, 2021. Candidates will be at least one month of preparation time after the declaration of the NEET PG schedule. Check the PMO notice below.

A decision was taken to postpone NEET-PG for at least 4 months & the exam will not be held before 31st August 2021. Students will also be given atleast one month of time after announcement of exam before it is conducted.

April 15, 2021: NBE has released a notice on NEET PG postponement. The notice published at natboard.edu.in titled "NEET-PG 2021 Postponed" mentions that due to COVID-19 pandemic the NEET PG exam is postponed. The new NEET PG 2021 exam date will be announced later.

April 13, 2021: NEET PG 2021 admit card has been released at nbe.edu.in. Candidates have to log in with their user ID and password to download the hall tickets. As per the official notice, "The process of issuance of admit cards shall be completed in one to two days. "

April 12, 2021: NEET PG admit card 2021 to be released today, April 12, at nbe.edu.in. NEET PG admit card will be issued only to candidates whose application will be accepted by authorities. Along with the NEET PG 2021 hall ticket, NBE will issue a COVID e-pass to candidates. The NEET PG admit card will contain the candidate details, address of exam centre allotted, reporting time, and instructions to follow.

April 12, 2021: NEET PG aspirants have been requesting the authorities to postpone NEET PG 2021. Candidates took twitter to reach out to NBE and other concerned authorities for postponing NEET PG exam owing to rise in COVID-19 cases across the country. NBE is set to conduct NEET PG 2021 on April 18 in 255 cities across the country.

April 9, 2021: NEET PG 2021 COVID-19 guidelines have been released as official notice for the smooth and safe conduct of the exam.   • Same state centres: In the wake of COVID-19, NBE has increased the number of NEET PG exam centres and testing seats across the country. To avoid inter-state travelling, the centres will be increased for candidates who have chosen 'Others' as an option in the NEET PG application form.
  • COVID E-pass: NEET PG admit card 2021 will have the COVID E-pass for scrutiny by police and administrative staff. The NEET PG e-pass will help aspirants in the movement without any travel restrictions.
  • Staggered entry at NEET PG centre: To avoid unnecessarily crowding at the exam centre, the aspirants must report at the centre as per the time allotted.
  • Isolation labs: Using the Thermo-guns, candidates will be checked before entry inside the exam centre. Candidates with little or major COVID symptoms will be allowed to take the NEET PG 2021 exam inside an isolation lab.
  • Compulsory use of face mask: No one will be allowed to appear for NEET PG test without the face mask. Candidates are not allowed to carry unnecessary items. Bottled drinking water will be provided inside the NEET PG exam centre 2021.
  • COVID-19 protective gear safety kit: NEET PG test takes will be provided with a protective gear safety kit containing, face mask, face shield and five sanitiser sachets. It is mandatory for aspirants to wear face mask during and after the exam.
  • The staggered exit of candidates from NEET PG test centres: After the completion of the exam, the staggered manner can be used to leave the NEET PG test centre. The directions and other regulations will be communicated by the centre in charge.

What's new in NEET PG 2021?

NEET PG Admit Card 2021

The NEET PG admit card 2021 will be released in an online mode. at nbe.edu.in. Only aspirants who have registered successfully are able to download the NEET PG admit card. The direct NEET PG hall ticket 2021 download link will be provided on this page.To download the nbe.edu.in NEET PG admit card, enter the NEET PG 2021 login user ID and password. In case candidates cannot recall their NEET PG login password, they can download the NEET PG admit card without password. Along with the NEET PG hall ticket, a COVID e-pass has been issued for hassle free movement amid travel restrictions on the day of exam. NEET PG admit card will mention name, father's name, date of birth. category, gender, nationality, application number, roll number, date and time of NEET PG exam, photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, name and address of exam centre allotted. It is mandatory to carry the printout of NEET PG hall ticket 2021 to the exam centre on exam day along with the following documents:

  • A passport size photograph to be pasted on admit card
  • Any one ID proof - Passport, Aadhaar Card, PAN card, Driving License, Voter ID or any other government ID proof
  • Foreign graduates must carry - photocopy of provisional/permanent registration certificate by MCI/SMC OR pass certificate of FMGE
  • Foreign aspirants must carry valid and original passport as proof of medical practitioner in their country

NBE has released the application form of NEET PG 2021 on February 23 from 03:00 PM onwards. Only the eligible candidates can fill the NEET PG application form by March 15. NBE NEET PG application correction window 2021 is available at nbe.edu.in. Candidates can use the NEET PG correction window from March 19 to 21, 2021. Successfully registered aspirants can edit their details through NEET PG registration correction facility. It must be ensured that the information filled by aspirants during NEET PG application form correction window 2021 is correct, as per their knowledge. However, it must be noted that not all fields can be edited through NEET PG application form correction window. Following are the details, which can and cannot be edited in the application form of NEET PG 2021.

NEET PG 2021 Scope

NEET PG for the academic session 2021-22 will be held for admission to following seats/quotas:

1) All India 50% quota seats (except Jammu and Kashmir)

2) State 50% quota seats (including seats in Jammu and Kashmir)

3) All private medical, deemed/central universities across India

4) Armed forces Medical Services (AFMS) Institutions

5) DNB broad speciality courses - DNB CET

The seats in all MD/MS colleges and PG Diploma hospitals will be done through NEET PG 2021, except for the following colleges:

NEET PG 2021 for admission process

NEET PG Eligibility Criteria 2021

Before applying for NEET PG, it is mandatory for aspirants to fulfil the basic eligibility criteria of NEET PG as specified by NBE. Below are the basic NEET PG eligibility conditions which must be taken care of by medicos.

  • Aspirants must have possessed a recognised provisional/permanent MBBS degree certificate issued by medical institute recognised by Medical Council of India (MCI)

  • Candidates must have a provisional/permanent registration certificate issued by the MCI or State Medical Council.

  • One must have completed or complete their compulsory one-year rotatory internship by March 31, 2021, according to the eligibility criteria of NEET PG 2021.

  • Candidates completing their MBBS from the Jammu and Kashmir will be eligible for admission to the 50% All India Quota seats only if they have been nominees of the Government of India for the Central Pool Quota seats.

  • Candidates are required to possess an Aadhar Card according to NEET PG 2021 eligibility criteria

NEET PG Exam Centres 2021

The exam centres of NEET PG 2021 are the list of cities in which exam will be conducted. NEET PG 2021 exam centres has been released along with the information brochure. Last year, NEET PG was held in 162 cities across India but for 2021 session it has been increased to 255. While filling the application form, aspirants need to choose NEET PG test city, in which they wish to take the exam. Candidates will choose NEET PG exam cities 2021 as per their preference and convenience. It must be noted that NEET PG exam centre will be allotted on first come first serve basis. NEET PG Answer Key 2021

NEET PG is a propriety examination which is conducted by NBE. The contents of this exam are kept confidential. Candidates at the time of submitting at the NEET PG application form enter into a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with the exam conducting authority. Owing to this NDA the NEET PG answer key 2021 will not be released. Through this, candidates are restricted from discussing the question paper of NEET PG 2021. Leading coaching centres may publish a memory-based answer key of NEET PG. If such an answer key is published it will be provided on our website.

NEET PG Result 2021

The result of NEET PG 2021 will be declared online in the form of PDF. A direct link for NEET PG result download link will be provided on this page, when released. NEET PG result PDF will mention roll number, scores obtained (out of 800), qualifying status (passed/failed). Aspirants who will secure the minimum qualifying percentile will be considered qualified in NEET PG 2021. After the declaration of result, qualified candidates will be eligible to download NEET PG scorecard 2021. The scorecard of NEET PG 2021 will be released for candidates who will qualify for 50% All India Quota seats. NEET PG results and scorecard can be checked from the official website - nbe.edu.in. All the eligible candidates will be eligible to participate in NEET PG counselling 2021.

NEET PG Cutoff 2021

NBE NEET PG cut off is the minimum qualifying percentile and marks to be secured to pass the entrance test. The cutoff of NEET PG 2021 percentile is released along with the information brochure. While the corresponding marks of NEET PG cut off will be announced along with the result. NEET PG cutoff 2021 for General category aspirants is 50th percentile, while for SC/ST/OBC, it is 40th percentile. Last year, the NEET PG cutoff scores for Unreserved category was 366, whereas, for SC/ST/OBC it was 319. NEET PG cutoff 2021 is determined on the basis various factors which includes number of candidates appeared for the exam, total seats available, difficulty level of NEET PG and others. Revision of NEET PG Cutoff 2021

NBE along with MCI and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) will reduce the cut off of NEET PG 2021. NBE will lower NEET PG 2021 cut off for allowing more candidates to participate in counselling process. In order to fill the vacant seats in MD/MS/PG Diploma seats, NEET PG cutoff 2021 will be lowered. For the previous year, NEET PG cutoff for General, SC, ST, OBC and PwD was reduced by 20 percentile. The cutoff percentile for General candidates was 30th, while for SC/ST/OBC it was 25th. Check the revised NEET PG cutoff percentile and scores below.

As per the NBE NEET PG statistics, as many as, 1,67,102 aspirants registered for NEET PG exam, while 1,60,888 aspirants appeared for the test. Out of the appeared candidates, only 89,549 aspirants passed the NEET PG exam.

NEET PG Counselling 2021

NEET PG counselling is conducted at two levels which include All India Counselling and state-level counselling. The NEET PG counselling 2021 for 50% All India Quota seats will be conducted by Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). NEET PG counselling 2021 for AIQ will be held in two rounds. A mop-up round for NEET PG allotment will also be conducted for Central, Deemed universities and ESIC institutes only. Candidates will be required to participate in the online NEET PG 2021 counselling and fill in their choices of institutions in the order of their preferences. The allotment of seats in various institutions will be based on the candidates’ merit rank, opted preference, seats available, reservation criteria and others. The result of each round of NEET PG counselling 2021 will be declared on the official website of MCC.

NEET PG 2021 counselling for 50% of state quota seats will be conducted by the respective state counselling authorities. Each state conducts its own application form, merit list, counselling schedule, seat allotment list and applies eligibility as well as domicile criteria. Candidates who wish to take admission in the 50% state quota seats, seats offered in private colleges and institutes will have to fill the application form released by the state counselling authority.
