Earlier, the MCC put the counselling on hold due to the pending court case before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) had released the scorecard of NEET PG 2021 at on October 9. The NEET-PG exam was conducted on September 11, 2021. NEET PG result PDF mentions the roll number, marks obtained (out of 800), All India Rank (AIR). Those who have secured the minimum NEET PG cut off percentile have passed the exam. Based on the result and cutoff, the shortlisted aspirants will be called for NEET PG counselling 2021 process.

Earlier, NBE released the NEET PG hall tickets on September 6, 2021, at for a total of 1,74,886 candidates. Aspirants needed to report at the NEET PG 2021 exam centre as per the reporting time. NEET PG exam contained 200 multiple choice questions which must be answered within three hours thirty minutes. The questions were asked from Pre-Clinical, Clinical and Para-Clinical topics taught in MBBS syllabus. Earlier, the application form of NEET PG 2021 was re-opened from August 16 to 25 for eligible candidates.

Through NEET PG entrance exam, admission to 12,690 Master of Surgery (MS), 24,360 Doctor of Medicine (MD), and 922 PG Diploma seats will be granted. NEET PG Counselling 2021

NEET PG counselling is conducted at two levels which include All India Counselling and state-level counselling. The NEET PG counselling 2021 for 50% All India Quota seats will be conducted by Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). NEET PG counselling 2021 for AIQ will be held in two rounds. A mop-up round for NEET PG allotment will also be conducted for Central, Deemed universities and ESIC institutes only.

Candidates will be required to participate in the online NEET PG 2021 counselling and fill in their choices of institutions in the order of their preferences. The allotment of seats in various institutions will be based on the candidates’ merit rank, opted preference, seats available, reservation criteria, and others. The result of each round of NEET PG counselling 2021 will be declared on the official website of MCC.

NEET PG 2021 counselling for 50% of state quota seats will be conducted by the respective state counselling authorities. Each state conducts its own application form, merit list, counselling schedule, seat allotment list and applies eligibility as well as domicile criteria. Candidates who wish to take admission in the 50% state quota seats, seats offered in private colleges and institutes will have to fill the application form released by the state counselling authority.

NEET PG Answer Key 2021

NEET PG is a propriety examination which is conducted by NBE. The contents of this exam are kept confidential. Candidates at the time of submitting at the NEET PG application form enter into a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with the exam conducting authority. NBE NEET PG cut off is the minimum qualifying percentile and marks to be secured to pass the entrance test. NEET PG cutoff 2021 marks for general, SC/ST/OBC has been announced along with the result. Revision of NEET PG Cutoff 2021

NBE along with MCI and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) will reduce the cut off of NEET PG 2021. NBE will lower NEET PG 2021 cut off for allowing more candidates to participate in counselling process. In order to fill the vacant seats in MD/MS/PG Diploma seats, NEET PG cutoff 2021 will be lowered. For the previous year, NEET PG cutoff for General, SC, ST, OBC and PwD was reduced by 20 percentile. NEET PG Eligibility Criteria 2021

Before applying for NEET PG, it is mandatory for aspirants to fulfil the basic eligibility criteria of NEET PG as specified by NBE. Below are the basic NEET PG eligibility conditions which must be taken care of by medicos.

  • Aspirants must have possessed a recognised provisional/permanent MBBS degree certificate issued by medical institute recognised by Medical Council of India (MCI)

  • Candidates must have a provisional/permanent registration certificate issued by the MCI or State Medical Council.

  • One must have completed or complete their compulsory one-year rotatory internship by March 31, 2021, according to the eligibility criteria of NEET PG 2021.

  • Candidates completing their MBBS from the Jammu and Kashmir will be eligible for admission to the 50% All India Quota seats only if they have been nominees of the Government of India for the Central Pool Quota seats.

  • Candidates are required to possess an Aadhar Card according to NEET PG 2021 eligibility criteria

Last year, NEET PG was held in 162 cities across India but for 2021 session it has been increased to 255. Exam Analysis

According to the test-takers, the overall difficulty level of the NEET PG 2021 exam was moderate. A total of 200 MCQs related to Pre-clinical, Clinical and Para-Clinical were asked in the exam. However, the maximum number of questions were from the Clinical portion. On the basis of difficulty level, the cutoff is likely to be around 200.

Various questions sounded very confusing in terms of the available answer choices. Some parts of the question paper of NEET PG 2021 were slightly on the lengthy side and time taking.
