The NBE has released NEET PG 2024 exam cities list at natboard.edu.in. The NEET PG 2024 exam will be conducted in 185 cities across the country. NEET PG 2024 will be conducted on August 11, 2024 in two shifts. The admit cards for NEET PG 2024 exam will be available from August 8. The NEET PG 2024 cutoff date for the completion of the internship is August 15, 2024. Earlier, the NEET PG 2024 exam was scheduled on June 23, however, it was postponed as a precautionary measure.

NEET PG is an online entrance exam, wherein candidates are asked a total of 200 multiple-choice questions in a time duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes. The NEET PG paper will be based on a syllabus which includes Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical, and Clinical subjects from the MBBS curriculum. Candidates are required to fill out the NEET PG application form 2024 in online mode. The registered candidates who submit the application forms will be issued the NEET PG admit cards.

After the conclusion of the NEET PG exam, the authority will publish the NEET PG exam result along with the cutoff. To qualify the NEET PG exam, candidates will have to secure the minimum qualifying cutoff as set by the authority. The qualified candidates will be eligible for counselling. The NEET PG counselling will be conducted separately for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and remaining 50% state quota seats. Based on the NEET PG scores, admission will be granted to 26,168 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 13,649 Master of Surgery (MS), 922 PG Diploma and 1,338 DNB CET seats. The NBE has announced the new exam date for NEET PG 2024. The revised NEET PG exam date is August 11, 2024. The fresh NEET PG 2024 admit cards will be issued to all registered aspirants. The Ministry of Health postponed the NEET PG exam just 12 hours before the scheduled date, which was June 23. The NEET Pg 2024 exam will be conducted in two shifts. Candidates must meet the required NEET PG eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. The essential requirements for NEET PG 2024 eligibility criteria are listed below.

  • Educational qualification: Candidates are required to possess MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognised by the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.

NEET PG 2024 counselling

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts NEET PG counselling for 50% of All India Quota (AIQ), and 100% deemed and central universities, ESIC, and AFMS seats, the state counselling authorities conduct counselling for the remaining 50% of state quota seats.

The authority conducts 4 rounds of All India Quota counselling for NEET PG qualified candidates: Through the NEET PG counselling, the AIQ fresh registrations will be allowed in the first 3 rounds not including the spot round.
