NTA NEET 2021 - The National Testing Agency (NTA) is has declared the NEETUG 2021 result on their official websites. The NTA announced the NEET 2021 result date and time as November 1, at 8 PM. As per the recent order by the Honourable Supreme court the NTA can release the NEET result 2021 officially at neet.nta.nic.in. The NEET 2021 result will contain the total score as well as section-wise score obtained by the students in NEET 2021. NEET UG official answer key 2021 by NTA has been released and the answer key challenge window has been closed. The NTA conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) on September 12, 2021, in pen and paper mode. The NEET 2021 phase 2 registrations has been concluded at neet.nta.nic.in on October 26. Candidates were required to fill in details in the NEET 2021 phase 2 application form before the last date to be mentioned by the authorities. NTA has released the NEET 2021 final answer key at the official website along with the result.

The NEET 2021 result has been released in the form of a scorecard. Candidates securing minimum NEET 2021 cutoff by NTA have qualified for the test. The NTA NEET result PDF mentions details such as the candidate details, subject-wise NEET 2021 percentile, marks scored out of 720, All India Rank, category rank, and 15% All India Quota rank.

The role of NTA in NEET admission 2021 has completed with the declaration of results. NTA NEET 2021 Scope

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) by NTA is the gateway exam for candidates who wish to pursue a career in medical sciences. NTA NEET scores are accepted by the MCC and state counselling committees to offer admission to qualified candidates in medical courses in the country. The scope of NTA NEET 2021 will be used for the following purpose:

  • Through NEET conducted by NTA, admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Veterinary and other graduate-level medical courses will be granted.

  • On the basis of NTA NEET 2021, admission to 83,075 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, and 525 BVSc and AH seats including 1,899 AIIMS and 249 JIPMER seats will be granted

  • The admission through NEET scores by NTA will be accepted by government colleges, central and deemed universities, ESIC, AFMC, AIIMS, PGIMER, and JIPMER, along with private medical colleges.

NTA NEET 2021 changes

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the NEET 2021 information brochure with the following changes.

  • NEET 2021 exam centre: NEET 2021 exam centres was increased from 198 to 202.
  • NEET 2021 exam pattern- NTA revised the exam pattern, now there were 200 questions asked in the exam out of which candidates needed to answer 180. The questions were divided into two sections for each subject - Section A and B. Section A contained 35 questions while Section B had 15 questions. Out of these 15 questions, candidates could answer any 10, which makes it 180 questions.
  • Admission to nursing courses: Aspirants can now get admission to BSc Nursing courses through NEET scores
  • EWS Reservation- 10% reservation only in National institutes and central universities
  • OBC NCL Reservations - 27% reservation only in National Institutes and Central Universities
  • Tie-breaking method - The method of using age to break the tie has been cancelled.
  • Two sets to fill the application form - NTA has changed the NEET 2021 application process for medical aspirants. Now the essential fields to be filled at the time of registration and optional fields after the declaration of the result.
  • Non-Disclosure Agreement - NEET (UG) 2021 is a proprietary Examination and is conducted by NTA on behalf of NMC, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW). The contents of this exam are confidential, proprietary and are owned by NTA/NMC/MoHFW and explicitly prohibits the candidate from publishing, reproducing, or transmitting any or some content of this test, in whole or in part, in any form or by any means, verbal or written, electronic or mechanical or for any purpose. Hangouts, Blogs, etc. using either one’s own account or proxy account (s).
  • Exam cities increased - NTA has increased the NEET 2021 exam cities to a total of 201 from 155.
  • List of centres issuing disability certificates increased - The disability certificates will be issued at 13 centres.
  • Total number of languages increased- Last year, the exam was conducted in a total of 11 languages. However, this time, the number of languages has been increased to 13 with Punjabi and Malayalam added as new.
