July 15: CBSE board has said that class 10 results will be declared by July 31, 2021. The board will reopen the portal for reasonable awarding of marks from July 16 to 22, 2021.

July 6: CBSE has directed the officials to visit the schools and ensure the effective implementation of the marks tabulation policy.

June 22: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the CBSE results 2021 of the cancelled Class 10 and Class 12 board exams by July 31. Students will be able to check their CBSE 2021 result on official website of the board.June 17: As per the NDTV report, "CBSE had earlier announced that the entire exercise of tabulation of marks will be completed by June 11 and the result will be declared by the third week of June. However, the board has extended the date to upload the CBSE Class 10 marks by the schools till June 30, students can now expect their Class 10 results of the cancelled board exams in July."

Marking Scheme for CBSE Class 10 Result 2021

As per the new CBSE 10th result 2021 assessment procedure, students will be assessed out of a total of 100 marks which comprise 80 marks for year-end board exams and 20 marks for internal assessments.

The internal assessment will be done as per the existing policy of CBSE.

Due to the cancellation of the CBSE Class 10 board exam 2021, the assessment of 80 marks will be done by the school in two ways:

1. Based on the marks scored in different tests or exams conducted by the school during the academic year.

2. The marks of students should be in consonance with the past performance of the school in Class 10 Board examinations.

Broadly, the following exams/tests are common and will be used for school-based assessment and the weightage in terms of maximum marks for schools who have conducted the above tests/exams is given below:

In case schools have conducted more than one test/exam, within each category, then the committee may fix the weightage to be given to each exam/test within the category subject to the overall maximum marks for that category.

The marks will be finalized by the committee consisting of the Principal and seven teachers. The committee needs to have five teachers from the school from Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and two languages. The remaining two teachers need to be co-opted by the school from neighbour schools.

  • First of all, Add your grade points for the main five subjects
  • Now, divide it by 5.
  • For example, if your grade points for the five main subjects are: 9, 8, 9, 9 and 7, then
    • Step 1: Add the grade points: 9+8+9+9+7 = 42
    • Step 2: Divide it by 5; 42/5 = 8.4

  • The portal will remain active for 2 -3 days.
