CBSE Practical Date Sheet 2025 Out @cbse.gov.in; Class 10, 12 Theory Exams Starts from February 15
CBSE Date Sheet 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the practical date sheet for Classes 10 and 12 on October 10, 2024. The CBSE practical examinations for the session 2024-25 for classes X and XII for winter-bound schools will be conducted from November 5, 2024 (Tuesday) to December 5, 2024 (Thursday). The CBSE practical exams/project/internal assessment for the session 2024-25 are scheduled from January 1, 2025, for all affiliated schools in India and abroad.
CBSE has announced the Class 10 and 12 exam dates for the academic year 2024-25. This academic year, the board is targeting to start CBSE Class 10th exam and CBSE Class 12 exam on February 15, 2025.
The detailed CBSE date sheet 2025 PDF for 10th and 12th Class will be released in the second week of December 2024. The board will make the CBSE exam date 2025 PDF available on the official website, cbse.gov.in. CBSE date sheet 2025 Class 12 for arts, commerce, and science stream is published through a common PDF. The Board will conduct the CBSE Class 10 and 12 practical or internal assessment in January 2025. Whereas, practical exams for winter-bound schools are scheduled for November and December 2024.
Last year, CBSE board exam date sheet PDF was released on December 12, 2023, for both classes. Later, CBSE board exam date sheet 2024 was revised on January 5, 2024. The CBSE 10th Date sheet 2025 and CBSE 12th Date Sheet 2025 mention the exam days, dates, timings and general instructions for the students. Students can check the gap in each exam and prepare accordingly.

September 27: CBSE Exam Time 2025
Class 10 and 12 board exams will begin in Morning at 10:30 PM. Most of the exams are held for a duration of 3 hours which will end at 1:30 PM. Students can find subject-wise exam time and dates in the CBSE Class 10, 12 date sheet PDF 2025.
September 25: CBSE Board exam total marks are 80 per paper
Most of the CBSE 10th, and 12th board exams are held for 80 marks per paper and 20 marks are reserved for internal assessment or practicals.
September 24: Practical exams in January
CBSE board will conduct Class 12 practical exams in January 2025 through external examiners who will be visiting the schools to take the practical examinations. Subject-wise exam dates will be communicated later.
September 23: Board Exam Date PDF in December
However, some media reports claim that the CBSE date sheet PDF will be available soon. But, the board is expected to release the CBSE board exam date 2024 PDF for Class 10 and 12 in the second week of December, as last year, it was released on December 12, 2023.
September 17, 2024: CBSE mid-term exams to begin on September 22
This year, the board is about to come up with the CBSE board exam schedule for Classes 10 and 12. However, CBSE mid-term exams are about to start and exam dates were communicated to students by the respective school authorities.

CBSE Practical Exam Date 2024-25
- CBSE board exam date sheet 2024-25 for practical exams (class 10 & class 12) has been released on October 10, 2024.
- The CBSE practical winter-bound exams will be held from November 5 to December 5, 2024.
- CBSE practical exam date for all other CBSE-affiliated schools will be held from January 1, 2025.
- Class 10 practicals will be taken by school teachers whereas class 12 practicals will be held by external examiners.
CBSE Date Sheet 2025 for 10th, 12th Theory Exams
The CBSE will release the board exam date sheet 2024-25 for all subjects in December. The Class 10th and 12th date sheets will be provided through separate PDF files. However, Class 10 exams will begin on February 15, 2024. But main exams like English will be held around March 3, 2025, followed by Science on March 7, SST on March 12 and Maths on March 15, 2025. Students must note that these board exam dates are tentative based on last year's date sheet and other factors so that students can plan their exam preparation.
