Example - If your Grade Points for 5 main subjects are:
Subjects | Grade Points Obtained |
Subject 1 | 9 |
Subject 2 | 8 |
Subject 3 | 8 |
Subject 4 | 7 |
Subject 5 | 8 |
Add these Grade points - 9+8+8+7+8 = 40 marks.
Divide the total Grade Points obtained by the total number of subjects, i.e. 5
So, 40 divided by 5 = 8
