NTSE Andhra Pradesh 2021-22 Eligibility Criteria

Students who are studying in class 10 in Andhra Pradesh can apply for NTSE Andhra Pradesh 2021-21 exam. One must qualify NTSE Eligibility criteria in order to appear for the exam.

  • A student must secure at least 55% marks in class 9 to appear in the NTSE exam.

  • Apart from government-affiliated schools, students belonging to CBSE and ICSE are also eligible to appear for the exam.

  • An aspirant must be an Indian citizen.

  • Pursuing class 10 in the current academic year of 2021-22.

  • ODL or Open Distance Learning class 10 students are eligible under the condition that their age is not above 18 years.

  • NMMS scholarship holders can also appear for NTSE AP 2021-22.

NTSE Andhra Pradesh 2021-22 Application Form

DGE has released NTSE 2021-22 Andhra Pradesh application form on the official website. Students can submit the NTSE application form online/offline. Students can collect the application form from their respective schools or can download it from the official website,bse.ap.gov.in. These forms need to be submitted after getting it attested from school. NTSE AP application forms must be submitted to the State Liaison Officer. How to fill NTSE AP Stage 1 Application form?

  • Visit the official website, bse.ap.gov.in.

  • Download the application form and take a printout of the same.

  • Fill the required information such as name, address, contact information, school details, and more.

  • Necessary documents including the photograph, Income certificate, caste certificate need to be attached and then the form must be attested by the head of the institution/ school.

  • Submit the form to the head of the institution or state liaison officer

  • Students have to submit the application fees of Rs. 200 through AP CFMS, which will be generated after the submission of the form.

Documents Required

Photographs - Attach two latest passport size photographs. The attached photographs must be attested by the School Principal/ Gazetted Officer.

Certificates

  • For SC, ST Category - One must attach an attested copy of their caste/ category certificates.

  • For OBC Category - Check the category to which candidate belongs in the central OBC list by National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC).

  • For Physically Challenged - Aspirants who are applying under physical disability (BLV, DH, LD, AID, MD) must attach a copy of their disability certificates issued by recognized medical institutes.

NTSE Andhra Pradesh Admit Card 2021-22

Candidates can download their admit card from the official website of DGE. Andhra Pradesh NTSE admit card 2021-22 will be released in December 2021. NTSE Admit card mentions candidates' details and exam details such as exam date, time and venue. Students without NTSE Andhra Pradesh 2021-22 will not be able to enter the examination hall.

NTSE Andhra Pradesh Exam Pattern 2021-22

Before starting their preparation, aspirants must be well aware of the NTSE exam pattern. Read below to know the exam pattern recommended by the board.

  • All questions will be either objective type or MCQ type.

  • Both the MAT and SAT exam will be conducted on the same day.

  • The language test will not be conducted.

  • The paper will consist of 200 questions and each question will carry a weightage of 1 mark.

  • There will be no negative marking.

NTSE Andhra Pradesh Syllabus 2021-22

There is no specific syllabus prescribed by NCERT or SCERT, so students must refer to class 9th and CBSE class 10 syllabus for preparation of the NTSE stage 1 exam. SAT exam consists of the syllabus of classes 9 and 10 as recommended by the respective board. For the MAT or Mental Ability Test, aspirants must practice more and more logical reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving questions. NTSE Syllabus for stage 2 is similar to the syllabus recommended by NCERT.

How to prepare for NTSE Andhra Pradesh 2021-22?

Students will be shortlisted on the basis of tests i.e. MAT and SAT. To crack these tests one must have good analytical and logical reasoning. Students must go through the syllabus thoroughly and start preparation. Students must follow the steps given below for NTSE preparation and score good marks in the exam-

  1. To cover all the subjects required for the exam, students must refer to the best books for NTSE preparation

  2. Take help from teachers and friends for solving difficult questions.

NTSE AP Answer Key 2022

  • The official answer key of Andhra Pradesh NTSE 2021-22 provides answers to questions asked in MAT and SAT paper. NTSE Answer key will be published by the Directorate of Government Examinations.

  • The NTSE AP answer key will be released in January 2022, tentatively.

  • Aspirants can check the accuracy of their answers by using the NTSE Andhra Pradesh 2021-22 answer key.

  • If any student has any objection over any particular answer, they have to submit their application via email to the Directorate of Government Examination before the last date.

NTSE Andhra Pradesh Result 2022

DGE will publish NTSE Andhra Pradesh 2021-22 result for stage 1 in February 2022 on the official website. NTSE result will be released in the form of merit list which includes details such as names of successful candidates, city, roll number, marks obtained in MAT and SAT tests. Selected candidates will be allowed to appear for NTSE AP stage 2 exams. The Stage 2 exams will be conducted in June 2022.

NTSE Andhra Pradesh Cutoff 2022

The minimum marks required to qualify for the NTSE exam is termed as NTSE cutoff. DGE, Andhra Pradesh will release the cut off along with the NTSE result in February 2022. Refer to know the previous year’s NTSE Andhra Pradesh cutoff.

NTSE Scholarship 2021-22

NCERT gives a total of 2,000 merit-based scholarships under the NTSE programme. Students who qualify stage 1 will participate in the final stage of the NTSE exam. Students can find a category-wise percentage of seats allotted to each category in the table below. On the basis of this percentage, the NTSE scholarship is given to the candidates.
