Key Points about Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2024-25

  • The scholarship is exclusively for students pursuing students in regular mode.

  • Applicants must have passed their previous year’s examinations (2021 and 2022) and secured admission in the subsequent academic year as per the advertisement.

  • Students enrolled in M.Phil and doctoral courses (Non-NET Junior Research Fellow and NET Lectureship) in state-aided institutions are eligible to apply for SVMCM scholarship.

  • Female students pursuing postgraduate degrees from state universities after completing their undergraduate studies with a minimum aggregate of 45% can apply under the Kanyashree (K3) category.

  • The annual income of applicant’s family should not exceed Rs 2,50,000 to qualify.

  • Providing accurate income documents is crucial; falsification may result in disqualification from applying for any government scholarships in the future.

  • Beneficiary bank account details are mandatory for the disbursement of the scholarship amount.

  • Applications must be submitted online through the official SVMCM website: svmcm.wbhed.gov.in; hard copies will not be accepted.

  • Students cannot apply for other government (state or central) scholarships for the same course/stage of study if they are already benefiting from the SVMCM scholarship scheme for 2024-25.
